I recently partnered with John, the owner behind BOTTLES in Waynesboro, Virginia, to create a high-impact promotional event graphic for their weekly “Wings & Wits Wednesdays” night.
Having a strong working relationship with John—who also operates Zeus Theaters—is a real advantage. It allows me to deliver consistent, quality designs across his different properties, ensuring a cohesive brand experience. My goal here was the same as when designing for Zeus: cut through the visual noise and create an eye-catching, high-energy piece that drives customer action.
The primary design challenge was to blend the half-price wing special and the Jeopardy! Bar League into one attention-grabbing graphic that echoed their established western/retro feel. I developed a bold, vintage poster aesthetic and optimized the layout to clearly communicate all event details, effectively turning the banner into a high-performing small business marketing graphic to drive increased attendance.
